Viktor Rosenfeld

In October 2014 I joined the DIMA team at the Technical University Berlin as a research associate within the Berlin Big Data Center. Previously, I received my Diplom-Informatiker degree at the Humboldt University Berlin for the implementation of an optimized linguistic query language on top of a main-memory, column-oriented database. My thesis grew out of my work as a student researcher within the German collaborative research center (Sonderforschungsbereich) 632 where we created Annis, a database-backed corpus management system and query language for large multi-modal linguistic corpora.

My main research interests are data processing on modern multi-core and many-core processors and heterogeneous systems, and adaptive query processing and auto-tuning techniques.
