I am a research associate at the Database and
Information Management (DIMA) group at the Technical University of
Berlin since November 2011. Before that, I got my M.Sc. degree at TU
Berlin and worked as a student assistant at DIMA for two years.
Since 2011, I am coordinating an ongoing collaboration
between DIMA and the Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) at the IBM
Toronto Labs, Canada. As part of this work we are researching
algorithms and models for scalable data generation and declarative
specification of massively-parallel data generation programs. Some of
our recent ideas have been implemented in the Myriad Toolkit - a
development toolkit for scalable data generators.

My current research interests are in
the area of scalable information management for domain-specific
languages (DSLs). In particular, I am investigating new techniques for
incomplete, declarative specification of DSL semantics, as well as the
impact that these techniques have on the design of directed search
strategies for holistic optimization of cross-domain
applications.
